Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is among the most common behavioral disorders in school-aged children.

In Greece, ADHD rates are between 5 and 11%. A child suffering form ADHD faces high levels of stress because they face symptoms such as reduced attention and hyperactivity, which are associated to low self-esteem, failure at school, and various behavioral issues. The challenges they confront in their everyday life significantly increase stress, which may lead to health problems, as well as deterioration of ADHD symptoms.
